(BCN) -- A convicted felon and a teenage boy were arrested early Friday after attempting to break into a business in Corte Madera, police said. Central Marin Police responded just after midnight to the 1800 block of Redwood Highway after a security guard spotted two masked suspects allegedly trying to smash the windows and doors of a retail store, according to the police. Mother killed by red-light runner in San Mateo crash identifiedWith help from the Marin County Sheriff's Office, police secured the shopping center and detained two suspects wearing hoods, masks and sunglasses near the business. Surveillance footage confirmed they were the same individuals seen trying to force entry, officers noted. The suspects were identified as Clarence Stimpson, 37, of Hayward, and a 15-year-old boy from Fremont. Both were arrested for attempted burglary. The vehicle they arrived in was confirmed stolen. Inside the car, officers recovered two loaded semi-automatic handguns along with large-capacity magazines, police said. One was unregistered and stashed in the sunroof compartment. Kellogg: We Aren't Really Enforcing Russian Oil Sanctions, If We Did, 'They Start to Bite'

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “The Record,” Special Presidential Envoy for Russia and Ukraine Keith Kellogg said that the United States has not really gone after Russia’s money flows from oil that hard and that the level of sanctions is medium, but the enforcement level is low and “if you start enforcing those sanctions, they start to bite.” And he thinks President Donald Trump will move in the direction of stronger economic action on Russian oil. Kellogg stated, “[W]e really haven’t pushed hard on the economic piece of the oil. It’s a petro state. They export about 7 million barrels of oil a day and a lot of it goes through what we call the dark fleet. And I think if you start to move in that direction, I think the President will. That’s just a belief on my part. I haven’t talked to him on that.” Kellogg also stated that “if you talk to the secretary of the treasury, if you look at sanctions, and Secretary Bessent has said that, if you look at them between one and ten, one being low, ten being high, they’re probably at about a level of six. But the enforcement’s about aThe post Kellogg: We Aren’t Really Enforcing Russian Oil Sanctions, If We Did, ‘They Start to Bite’ appeared first on Breitbart.

Kellogg: Russia Could End War Tomorrow, 'The Ukrainians Will Move that Fast'

On Tuesday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “The Record,” Special Presidential Envoy for Russia and Ukraine Keith Kellogg stated that the Russia-Ukraine war would be over with right away if Russia said it wanted a ceasefire and if Russia did so, “The Ukrainians will move that fast and the President would like to see it.” But Vladimir Putin has not taken advantage of the “golden opportunity to end this war” that he has been given by President Donald Trump giving him “enormous latitude” to reach an end. Kellogg said, “I will tell you, if Putin came out tonight and said, we want a ceasefire tomorrow, it would happen that fast. The Ukrainians will move that fast and the President would like to see it. And the frustration he feels is the constant bombardment of a European [country], because Ukraine is a European [country] and the destruction that you see there.” Later, Kellogg added that Putin “had a golden opportunity to end this war. The President’s given him enormous latitude to be able to say, okay, this is all going to get to — but let’s finish this. He can do that. And I think the President doesn’t see that.” Follow Ian HanchettThe post Kellogg: Russia Could End War Tomorrow, ‘The Ukrainians Will Move that Fast’ appeared first on Breitbart.

Retailers stock up ahead of tariffs, driving Port of Savannah's growth

Retailers rushing to stock up before expected tariffs have boosted the Port of Savannah to its second-busiest year. The Georgia Ports Authority reported Tuesday that the port moved 5.7 million container units in the 2025 fiscal year. That's an 8.6% increase over the previous year. This surge is partly due to President Donald Trump's promises to enact heavy tariffs on U.S. trading partners. However, June saw a drop in container volumes amid ongoing uncertainty. Other major U.S. ports also experienced gains. The Port of Los Angeles reported its busiest June ever, while the Port of New York and New Jersey saw a 6.5% increase in container volumes from January through May.
