2025-04-01NAB 2025: FW: Telos Alliance Unveils New Features for AudioTools Server
Telos Alliance (Booth N721) will showcase several new AI-driven features to its Minnetonka Audio AudioTools Server file-based audio automation platform at the 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The new features are part of a major software update for AudioTools Server, ATS V7, which is scheduled for release later this year. These enhancements serve as examples of how the creative use of AI can improve the viewing experience for the television and media audience and take advantage of the personalization features of Next Generation Audio.ATS V7 will introduce the ability to measure dialog intelligibility, one of the top audio-related complaints, regardless of how viewers receive or view content. If the measurements reveal viewers will struggle to understand the dialog easily, it can be extracted and processed for increased intelligibility. The ability to isolate dialog will also provide the opportunity for more accurate loudness measurements.ATS V7 will also offer AI-driven language detection. If the dialog in the final audio presentation is in a language other than expected, it can flag the issue and alert the operator. In situations where different language tracks are present on different channel pairs, ATS V.7 can identify and repair the problem, ensuring a higher level of quality control."Our Minnetonka Audio AudioTools Server platform is valued by television and media professionals around the world for automating complex audio workflows, saving time and money for broadcasters while ensuring viewers are provided with the best possible experience,” says Costa Nikols, Telos Alliance Executive Strategy Advisor for Media and Entertainment. “When integrated or combined with the existing suite of ATS features, these new capabilities unlock an entirely new level of efficiency in content creation and delivery, not just for Next Generation Audio, but for all media consumed worldwide today.”
